The Rock n Country All-Stars, a.k.a. The Grumpy Old Men Tour, entertained several hundred people at Toucan’s, Milan IL with a blend of, what else, Rock and Country Music.
The band’s line up is Greg Deshepper on vocals & guitar; Schaad Doyle on vocals, guitar, pedal steel guitar & saxophone; John Gunter on vocals and guitar; Paul Deshepper on drums; Lee Albertson on bass; and yours truly on vocals, keyboards, and guitar. Special guests were Jimmy Gramatico on drums, Rick Kisley on guitar, and John’s nephew on guitar. Thanks to everyone who helped out.
Everybody had a great time. There were a lot of people there who haven’t seen each other in many years. I know there were a lot of stories about survivors and friends being told! What a ball!

The band was formed especially for the Child Abuse Benefit. We all had such a good time, we may perform for other charitable events.
Final tallies of the amount donated by the attendees havn’t been released yet, but based on the attendence I think this event can be called a success.
Wherever you are as you read this, there is a child in need close to you now. Do a little homework. Find the agency responsible for helping abused and neglected kids and either donate your money or your time to help the children who have no other advocate.
